Origin Broadband is a British ISP and network operator based in Doncaster and Sheffield, South Yorkshire that specialises in providing consumer and wholesale internet connectivity, including ADSL2+, FTTC, Leased Lines, and telecommunications services. Services such as colocation, website hosting and remote backup storage are also available from Origin’s secure datacentre. The company began by reselling on the Digital Region fibre Optic network, a largely publicly funded network. Origin Broadband soon became the largest ISP on the network.
